PURPOSE
Alcohol abuse remains one of the most dangerous and normalized aspects of college life. Each year, 1,519 students die from alcohol-related injuries, nearly 700,000 are assaulted, and around 97,000 experience alcohol-related sexual assault or date rape. Despite these staggering numbers, many students feel there’s no real alternative to the party scene.

CMC Initiative exists to change that—offering safe, consistent, alcohol- and substance-free events where students can build authentic friendships, grow as leaders, and experience college life without pressure or regret.

“CMCI made a lasting impact on our daughter. She was struggling for the first few months of college. She was invited to a CMCI event where she made friendship and community. She has been thriving ever since."
